At what limit would you press an acquaintance for money?

Say you are going out with your coworkers and you spot someone a drink and they say they'll pay you back but they don't, would you press them?

Or say you lend a friend $20 to get into a club and he doesn't pay you back would keep pressing him?

At what money limit would you start pressing? 1$?, $5, $6.80?, $20? $50?


Me personally if it's my family I'm not going to press them but if it's someone else I draw the limit at around $10.

I let it go. And bring it up when we do the same event. If I paid for u to get in they usually got me that next week and so forth.

I thought the thread was going to be about just asking to borrow money in general.

I've had trouble asking for money even from my mom.

If it's anything over 20... And they continually don't pay you back, they don't respect you. So therefore they're in the "kick rocks" category the next time 'round.

Never "lend" money you're not willing to go without unless it's family. But there won't be a 2nd time
