Joey is one of my favorites

But, to be top anything you have to be more versatile than Joe is

I WOULD have said top 5 a few years ago...

and I put him there between Mood Muzik 2 and 3.... when I went back and found all his mixtape stuff and realized just how consistently versatile dude is. And how deep his actual catalog was.

Dude really is a complete MC, encompassing and excelling at all the other things that other rappers are rated for on top of rapping that depressingly honest everyday regular nikka real shyt that got him labeled as "emorap" or whatever all the invincible swag machines that call themselves people were calling him.

Not "THE Best" in any particular category, mind you.

Never. Not top 5 to me. Will say though 3 Sides Of A Story personally one of the greatest Hip Hop tracks I've heard.
