Nah, they "know" the issues, particularly when you've been educated at institutions that prepare you to be the next-gen of leaders. It falls more along the lines of picking up the family mantle/crest.

They follow the trendy issues...
They dont fully understand life or policy until they Actually grow up and are independent

Of course it seems different

Because college students are heavily opinionated
