exactly and as an East Coast transplant....its funny how the same feeling of "high energy" I got when New York was on fiyah in the early 90's when I was living in the Bronx

is the same feeling I get when I am in Atlanta ...

the clubs..the shows....the people , the music and the radio just have this high energy of creativity

I remember listening to Greg Street come on the radio while im riding down peachtree and it just felt like Funk Flex live on air during the 90s with brand new amazing music

its no wonder they keep popping out new "stars"...they really have a culture to build on in Atlanta..

that's based on their own identity..something NYC has lost many years ago
