Woj said there was one owner who got mad at the coach for winning when they were supposed to tank. This was late in the season. Twitter people did the work and Hawks were one of the few tanking teams that won games late. It could be the Hawks owner who was that guy. Because Bud is interviewing with all rebuilding teams. This is a different issue

He did build his own team here. Bud was elevated to President in 2015 after Danny Ferry went on leave after his racist comments on Luol Deng. Bud's record as President included letting Al Horford walk for nothing, Millsap go for basically nothing, signing the disaster that was Dwight Howard, signed Kent Bazemore to a $71 million dollar deal, letting Demarre Carrol go for nothing, Bud had his chance to make a team and failed at it.

He's a great coach, but that's where it ends. Best of luck to him

He’s a tremendous coach. His failure came as an executive. It never makes sense to have someone do both jobs anyway.
