Atlanta Podcasters Say The South Was Too Stupid to Understand New York Hip Hop

We are definitely prejudice with our music down south. If folk even smell you're not from the south your music gets no play. Hip hop has gone 180 as far as regionally.

And even if you’re not from the south, you have to have a southern type sound to get extensive play. IE Roddy Rich when he had his lil run. From Compton, but had Atlanta sound all the way.
