shyte the op is an example of anti.intellectualism
the history of black music up top is rich enough for nikkas to never feel any type of way about the history of any other region
we got it all up here the whole black diaspora came up here & got polished got refined

No shyt... Don't change the truth tho......
Shut the fukk up, and be quiet.. You ain’t smart enough to know the difference between the two…
Why be mad at me for calling out the bs in op? Im all for diversity in music, im for balance. Meaning theres a time for party music but this "i dont want to think, music is just about dancing" lyrics dont matter bs is fukkin reinforcing stereotypes about the south. Be more mad at them. You the big brain nikka but have given no answers or insight.... this quote within itself sounds like a cope for a Wade Robson type of cat.... fukk @Ski Mask too
I don’t give a fukk about the difference. Go fukk yourself!
Maybe on the coli and maybe the oldheads. But irl, most New Yorkers I know(at least of a certain generation) just go with what’s popular. Like everyone else. They rock with popular music. Whether it’s Future, Young Boy, Kendrick, Drake, etc. NY ppl Nowdays feel like they’re a melting pot of music and just go with what “the culture” has deemed popular. I feel like the south and southern ppl Nowdays are more regional and inflexible with music taste. Of course I’m casting a wide net. It’s not true of everyone. Nobody really listens too or respects the Funk Flex types anyways.
