Atlanta'Instagram Model Calls in False Robbery to Save Boyfriend From a Traffic Stop

Meet Mai Lynn Yim.Yim, a 21 year-old aspiring Instagram Model, posed for the mugshot above after calling in a false report about a robbery in an attempt to divert police attention from her boyfriend’s traffic stop.

According to WSB-TV, Mai Lynn Yim’s boyfriend was pulled over during a traffic stop and apparently he was going to get arrested for something, so Yim sprang into action and called 911.
Marietta police arrested a woman they say called police about a fake armed robbery to divert them from a nearby traffic stop involving her boyfriend.
Officers say Mai-Lynn Yim called 911 around 12:15 a.m. Sunday.
She told them a robbery was happening in the parking lot of the Big Chicken on Cobb Parkway, according to the warrant.

Police say it was all a scheme to draw law enforcement away from her boyfriend, who was stopped by police in the area.
Sadly, the 21 year-old aspiring actress/model was arrested instead of honored for her valiant efforts after police determined she was merely trying to get them to move on from the traffic stop to prevent her boyfriend’s arrest.
Yim was charged with false report of a crime and has since used her instagram platform to respond to of her dumb decision…
