Attack on Titan Characters Made Unnervingly Real

It isn't like they took the anime characters and made them look real. That's exactly what they did.
They being Universal Studios Japan, which, starting tomorrow, is opening an Attack on Titan attraction at its Osaka theme park. Earlier today, I checked it out as part of a press preview.
Dubbed Attack on Titan The Real, it's a walk-thru attraction, which replays key moments from the anime on the big screen. However, as the attraction gets closer to its finale, there are realistic wax-like statues of slaughered Survey Corps members. It's rather gruesome stuff.
However, the attraction's climax has large, life-like statues of Attack on Titan characters Armin, Levi, and Mikasa. They're not one-to-one scale, and are slightly smaller than real people—something, I think, that keeps them from venturing completely into totally unnerving Uncanny Valley territory.

But they do look impressively real, giant eyes and all, that is. Like real-life anime characters. And check out the detail on the uniforms and equipment.

Attack on Titan Statues Are Eating Japanese Tourists

At least they'll have photos to remember this moment.
Near Universal Studios Japan's Attack on Titan attraction, there are Eren Titan and Female Titan statues. I checked them out during a press preview this week.

It has to be painful to not have skin.

They really tower over everything in this part of the park. The Eren Titan measures 15 meters (49 feet), and the Female Titan is 14 meters (46 feet).

Now they need a kid's hideout section where kids slide down the titan's throat.

How do they chew meat and bones if all their teeth are incisors?

You can also spend some time eating your Survey Corps. lunch and looking at Armin's giant eyeballs.

Still cant get over how cheap the armored and colossal titan were revealed

I remember there was some topic talking about how anime characters look white and japaneese people think they look Japanese. In the anime Levi looks like some cac on drugs but there they all look Japanese.
