some truth to this...I just saw Planet of the Apes in the hood theater in Norfolk VA. This Jamaican nikka had his ringer on, let his phone ring 3-4 times throughout the movie, never silenced it, and actually picked up once and had an actual conversation..

that theater shows matinees for $4 tho, so I can't complain

I don't think it's a race thing breh, I think it's more of a AGE thing. Especially with this attention whoring , Facebook liking, Instagram selfie taking, set myself on fire for LIKES generation. Not to say there isn't some ignorant older people, but in my experience it's always young people doing shyt for attention.​

hood people are definitely more loud/annoying during a movie but your normal everyday black people aren't doing shyt like that, but I guarantee you some trailer trash white folks would be just as annoying. As others have said, age is definitely a factor as well. I had some teens sitting in front of me during 22 jump street and these fukking dumbasses were CHIEFING their e-cigarettes and blowing the vapor STRAIGHT UP into the movie screen and the wall of vapor moved backwards (he was sitting towards the front) so everyone behind him could tell what flavor dude was smoking, me and some of my buddies started talking shyt like "ISN'T THIS A NON-SMOKING THEATER???"
