A few of us like me and @Vandelay have supply chain and logistics backgrounds. I was talking to some folks recently and there seems to be a realization and concern that between the slowing of exports from China (ship bookings down 30% year over year) and the really high tariffs on a bunch of countries, the price + shortage situation is going to be a perfect storm for a black market for a lot of goods.
Like this may be the big come up after drugs/migrants for the brehitos or gangs from Canada you can smuggle in stuff like electronics, gaming systems, and even mislabeled food and then resell for cheaper than the real import after smuggling across borders. Imagine if Trump's policies create the Mexican Lucky Luciano
Of course this depends on the tariffs lasting a while and causing huge issues. If it lasts so long shelves go bare and shyt, it's on.
This is just a PSA
