This coming from a VW Enthusiast.

How do you like that side of the world? How's the maintenance on them suckers?

I've never been a BMW or Mercedes type when it comes to german cars but i''ve been on the VW path for the longest. Been feeling the new Audi's for a while. Expecially those A6s tho, my cheap ass refuses to drop 35K on a car :stopitslime:
My boy just upgraded to a used 2011 A4. Neever been a fan of the A4 but his is the A4 S Line and i must say it's pretty impressive :ehh:

It seems like over time i've fukked around with my Passat enough to the point i'm afraid it's just might keep having problems from here on out so I'm preparing for the transition. Still lookgs good so i should be able to get a good trade-in for it

Penfed got some dope 1% interest rates on car loans going so year's end sale might be a good time to eat

My other options:
  • I'm feeling some of these new Subarus :guilty:. Dont judge me
  • I'd like another VW but not feeling the new Passat. Seems soo...unVW-like to me
  • That Dodge Challenger tho :ohlawd: Never cared for American cars but this one might get it

i'm moving to the A6 or A7 when i'm done with this CC. Audi is the only logical move from VW...:yeshrug:
Well My current Passat is pretty much a cheap Audi. I dare anyone to find a part under the hood that doesnt have the Audi sign. So in a sense you are right if upgrading is the plan
What year is your CC? And what dont you like about it?

Have an 11' S4 I purchased mid-October. Just a different kind of vehicle and experience. From the interior quality and it's fine little details, to the overall ride feel/handling and speed. Though I don't drive it much now (only weekends since I walk to work during the week), look forward to everytime that I do. Fan of all cars but personally prefer Audi out of the German threesome.

Yea...i had 2 Passats 1.8t, manual and the other triptonic. I somehow never liked the W8's. I learned alot about cars fixing and doing my own maintenance on them from the fukking coilpack issues to frequent losing the plastic molding where the jackstand goes. Both had GIAC chips, diverter valves and lots of aftermarket goodies. I wanted to get the S4- or S6 but I settled on BMW and got the M5 and now a 335.

I installed a used K04 Turbo and an FMI on my 1.8T. The GIAC Diverter valve makes a huge difference too.
But all the sudden i have all kinds of vacuum leaks and my heater core just went so losing coolant :noah:. I bypassed the heater core to solve te coolant leak but it's gonna be a hard winter if i dont fix it soon. Vacuum leak makes the car run like shyt when iddling
