the best thing thats happened is major voices have expressed their disgust in sterlings actions and it will not go away if silver doesnt do the right thing. the clippers could have been one of those voices at a much louder volume today and i wish they did more and did it with the warriors. if silver fukks up, their platform on tuesday will be incredible and need a response greater than throwing your warmups at center court outside the live tv window.

Honestly, this is part of why I was critical of Jim Brown in that Kobe shyt. Where are the OGs right now? Some of those same people in that old ass pic everyone posts have been deafeningly silent. It's a shame some of the older generations are so quick to insult but never offer a bit of encouragement when it's needed.

Honestly, Doc Rivers was supposed to be the OG in this matter.

The man is universally praised by everyone around the league and media for being a respected, sophisticated voice in the modern NBA. With his clout and the goodwill he's built for himself, he could have easily played the part of OG.

I've seen soccer managers pull their teams off the pitch due to 'cism from the fans, John Thompson did the same back in the day to protect Ewing from 'cism in the crowd. Doc could have said, 'we're not playing'....and every single one of his players would have followed his lead. By doing this, Doc would also protect his players by putting the burden of responsibility on himself...a man who has little to lose as he's halfway to retirement anyways.
