So, my company gave these out to all the employees in my office at the Christmas party.

How good is these joints, compared to Beats or any other good headphones out there? I've never owned a pair of high end headphones, so I feel like I wouldn't miss much. Should I keep them, or nah?

Bose sound is alright (7/10), but the noise cancelling is amazing (10/10).

I almost bought a pair just for the noise cancelling alone, because I worked in a cubicle and traveled on an airplane a lot with my old job. Bose noise canceling is fukking amazing. The sound quality leaves something to be desired though.

I ended up getting some noise cancelling Parrot Zik's for a little more ($400), and I absolutely love them. The noise cancelling isn't as good as Bose (8/10), but the sound quality is much better (9/10). And, on top of that, they're Bluetooth enabled and have a touch pad on the right ear :win:

Now, if you've never heard high quality sound before, you won't know what you're missing. They will sound miles ahead of sub-$100 cans. I say keep em, unless you want to trade up to some Ziks or Seinheissers (however you spell that). Beats are trash.

I'm listening to DS2 on these joints...even without listening to music, the noise cancelling REALLY works well. There's a 1 second delay when you enable it, and it amazes me how well that works. I'm a headphone snob now, too late to sell them now, I opened the box.

If they're free, enjoy em.

I personally wouldn't cop, cuz I'd never spend over $200 for headphones. But Russell Wilson approves.
