Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
The Pelicans are so poorly run, Poindexter has 3 more years on his deal after this season. I don't think Rivers is going to amount to much in the league, but he was a top 10 pick and you need to exhaust all avenues of his development. Also, the Rockets are going to get their draft pick this year, what a sack of shyt they're building around Davis.

Their incompetence is remarkable

- Traded two top 10 picks for Jrue Holiday
- Gave Eric Gordon a max contract
- Gave Tyreke Evans a big contract and also traded Robin Lopez for him, which in turn led them to...
- Trade their pick this year to the Rockets for Asik which will certainly be a lottery pick
- Used a top 10 pick on Austin Rivers

The team is 0-7 against The East on the road. That's a fireable offense. They need to get rid of Evans(he's a black hole on offense), get out of Gordon's contract, and find a new coach.

I'm with you on everything but not on this. Pondexter should be better than Rivers. I'm glad we were able to get SOMETHING for Rivers. Rivers is trash bruh. And I like him. Personally he's a great dude. But his talent just ain't good enough for the NBA. Pondexter is a solid piece to have for the next 3 years.

BUT, because our FO is so bad, getting someone like Pondexter can have people scratching their heads because of past shytty moves Dell Demps has made. Him and Monty need to go soon as the clock hits zero into this season. If Tom Benson, who I don't even know really has the mental capacity anymore to know if good decisions are being made since he is so sick now, keeps Dell and Monty, AD will be another Chris Paul. We'll be the franchise that let both AD and CP3 leave and we'll rightfully deserve every bit of shame that comes our way if we don't get our act together and realize we are going to need competent front office personnel if we're going to have a top tier player (arguably soon to be THE top tier player) on our team.

I was done with Dell after the stupid CP3 trade to the Lakers. Stern saved our asses on that and helped us suck enough to get AD. That CP3 to the Lakers trade showed me Dell didn't know how to build a team. He hit on the Jrue Holiday trade and Anderson move but everything else has been :scust: so far.

You think Gordon gonna turn down his $15 mil contract option next season. :pachaha:

PHX tried to save us from the Gordon contract and Demps ineptness couldn't let that happen.:snoop:

That Gordon contract is the best. He was coming off of an injury and didn't want to come back and they matched the offer anyway just because.

The only moves I don't agree with on that list is the bolded, but you cant fault them for the other moves they've made. Holiday is one of the most underrated PGs in the league, and when they traded for him they gave up a 19 year old rookie that was coming off an ACL tear and a pick that wasn't guaranteed to be lottery in exchange for an All-Star PG who averaged 18/8 the year before. Evans is a legitimate 6th man, maybe they overpaid him but a lot of players are overpaid for that matter. They were banking on the pick in the Asik not being a lottery pick, and it was reasonable to think they would make the playoffs with Davis' progression to a top 10 player in the league. You can't fault them for trying to win, even in the West. If they were in the East, they would almost assuredly be a top 5 seed

That pick pretty much was guaranteed to be in the lottery, the Pelicans weren't going to make the playoffs last year even if Holiday & Anderson didn't get hurt. Why trade two top 10 picks for a player who isn't even top 10 at his position? And it's not like Jrue was the missing piece that was gonna put them over the top and cement them as a playoff team either.

Regardless you don't pay a 6th man $11 mil a year. That's just bad business.

Also let's not overlook that in the Tyreke deal they traded Robin Lopez for him. Not only is Lopez a better player than Asik, but the Pelicans also wouldn't have had to trade away their lottery pick to get a defensive center to pair with Davis because they would've already had one. They also traded Greivis Vasquez in that deal and while he certainly isn't a gamechanger, it doesn't help them that they have one of the worst, if not the worst bench in the NBA. So basically they traded a defensive center that fit in great with Davis, as well as one of the best backup points in the league for an overpaid 6th man.

Yes if they were in the East they would be a playoff team, but they don't play in the East so that's irrelevant. And no, I don't fault them for trying to improve but I do fault them for not making wise decisions as they tried to make improvements.

:snoop:Can you imagine how much further along they'd be if they had just kept the Noel pick? It was bad enough to essentially max out an injury-prone SG in Gordon, but to compound that mistake by trading a top-6 pick for a league-average PG... :why:

EDIT: And how could I forget about fukking Reke :snoop::snoop::snoop:
