basically this. IF however, you do see a marked improvement over using premium(91) vs regular (87) the do that. Normally it's like a 5 buck difference in filling up.
20 gallons at 3.00 = $60
20 gallons at 3.20 = $64



I use premium (Chevron) because it does help with performance and engine noise in my experience.

Oh and the place you get your gas from does make a world of difference. "Discount gas" will fuk your shyt up over time.

in my v6 camaro I use premium but it only reduces the knock. And yes you do have gas stations they fill their gas up with detergents but to fully get the full benefit of using premium especially for his car would but cai,exhaust,and tune

I wouldn't worry about it.

A regular v6 or v8 generally won't need it.


If you have really high compression levels, tune, turbo etc its a necessity.

I have to run 93 on mine or I could fowl all kinds of things.
