shyt like this is why i'll never buy a whip newer than 2005 or so. do i wanna take a fap ride? connect the parking brake sensor back to the radio, ez. do i have any fear of my steed watching me, or snitching on me? it doesn't even have any cameras or modems. :pachaha:

An affront on human and civil rights!

If you vote for our JBO party we will lobby for open dialog about expanding protected characteristics - to be held in Geneva

Having a product you paid for get shut off because you're not using it the way the manufacturer wants will always be crazy to me. Cant even make modifications to some of these new cars without them getting bricked remotely or put into limp mode.

Yep, if you got a car newer than say, 2010, that mfer definitely spying & snitching on you :sas2:
apologies for the seriouspost, but more cats need to know about this :lupe:
Nissan [collects] some of the creepiest categories of data we have ever seen, [including] your “sexual activity.” Not to be out done, Kia also mentions they can collect information about your “sex life” in their privacy policy. Oh, and six car companies say they can collect your “genetic information” or “genetic characteristics.”

Nissan admits collecting information [about] sexual activity, health diagnosis data, and genetic data — but doesn’t specify how. They say they can share and sell consumers’ “preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes” to data brokers, law enforcement, and other third parties.

Hyundai’s privacy policy says that they can share data with law enforcement and governments based on “formal or informal” requests. Kia’s policy says they may share data in many scenarios “if, in our good faith opinion, such is required or permitted by law.” In other words: The threshold for sharing incredibly sensitive information is very low.
