I'm on the right in both pics. Hand over my face in the top pic.

So glad I got a chance to kick it w my nikkas Lyfe (left) & Taz (center) in NYC this Summer before I went back in.

Lyfe is a Queens nikka who grew up in Nas building, late thirties, older God body nikka I used to spin the track on the yard with, workout and let hear my rhymes. Back in 2010-2012 before I even knew the Coli existed, I would tell son my plans with the rap shyt and he felt all my shyt. He used to be more hype than me, telling everyone how nice I was, while I was moreless trying to be lowkey with my skill. He'd caught a gun case in VA, got 6 years and vowed to never return. Die hard Giants & Knicks fan, like me. We used to have the dayroom TVs on SMASH during the season & we had a game. "fukk you nikkas watching, Real Housewives? Nah b, Melo play tonight, fukk off the TV. I'ma go to the hole over this shyt if you wanna strap your shyt up & bang too, try me." shyt like that was regular. He came home a year after me, in 2013.

Taz, the brother in the middle, was a DC nikka locked up for an armed robbery & drug charges. He caught 8 years. I knew of him & his team (thorough nikkas) from the street, even kicked it w him at a mixtape release party of mine back in 06, but we neve really crossed paths, we were on opposite sides of the town we live in. Didn't see him again until 2010, in prison. Worked out together a few times & shot the breeze. Nothing major.

The following year, his baby brother, a street nikka, was murdered in my neighborhood by some lil nikkas who used to look up to & fear me. I always RAN my hood. Any beef? nikkas hit me up. But they wasn't my nikkas at the time they bodied Taz brother. I hadn't heard from em in over 4 years, and they was running around on some dumb shyt. Even the body was over some dumb shyt. Sad shyt. I made a promise (to myself) that if I ever ran across Taz on the street, I'd treat him like a brother. The worst pain I used to feel incarcerated was living in fear that I'd lose a close family member before I came home. I wouldn't be able to ever forgive or accept myself if it happened. I'd probably nevre have come home. I'm just wired weird like that. I felt his pain, so it was never stated, and he didn't even know, but I told myself I'd be his new brother if he ever needed it. He came home earlier this year.

This June, I brought him to NYC/NJ with me, he'd never been. Still had some 07 gear on, so I blessed him with some Armani, some new Nikes, and a snapback. Went out to eat, smashed some thotties together & even went to go check my man Lyfe in Queens, who I'd never met outside of prison. Had a good time catching up & echoing being on the outside together. Real nikkas do real things.

My nikka in the 3rd pic is the home Jersey. A older Newark cat that was part of my little up north clique in prison. My team was all Jersey, Bmore, NY nikkas. He was a peaceful dude. Never started any trouble. Like 42 years old and doing a 12 year stretch. Comes home next year. Some young nikka stole his radio while he at work one day, and before he even knew who did it, I made an example of him on the yard. Beat son the fukk UP. Then chased him back in his building with the banger. He checked in after that. The next day, a nikka named Dike-O from Brooklyn, some new kingpin type nikka who was doing 8 years, approached me on the yard like, "Yo...I heard about you. I fukks with what you did, son." From that point on, he was a part of my crew. We spun the track daily and he told me stories about Biggie & how he wasn't no real street nikka (which I'd heard, but never in deep detail like this, it broke my heart). He grew up with BIG & could verify it. Matter fact, he's Maino's uncle. Had VA on smash with the coke back in the day. That's what he was locked up for. Everybody in the prison used to dikkride him bc Maino would actually come to the prison in 2010-2011 to see him. All on the visiting floor while nikkas was starstruck like he was an A-lister. Main's official. Heard stories about him too.

Most nikkas tried to finesse their way into a record deal because Dike-Os listed as the executive producer for both of his albums. (Check it.) Me, I never once even told the nikka I rhyme, I don't think he ever even knew. But he fukkED with me tough, off my character. He came home in 2012, 4 months after I did.

My homie, family friend & right hand man Seven (on the right in the 3rd pic at the top of the page) is currently doing 25 years. Since 07. He's from 50 Cent block in Southside Jamaica, Queens. Grew up with fif, the whole 9. He's actually one of 50 shooters/dealers from back when G-Unit was just his muscle. A bunch of street nikkas who came together to get money & put in work. I know for a fact 50 is THAT nikka, due to the stories I've heard, shyt I've seen with my own two eyes, and work I've put in w some of his other nikkas who still be out there. Yayo brother was introduced to me wen I used to clown Seven for claiming G-Unit & tell him he was lying. We put in work with the nikka. And from that point on, we rocked like brothers, getting money and TERRORIZING Virginia.

He's in right now for shooting a nikka who never came to court to testify. He was THAT shook. We had a mean resume back in the days. Seven committed the crime with a former mutual friend of ours, D.J., who was a well known shooter/goon/knockout artist like myself. There was no evidence in the case: no gun, no witnesses, no camera footage and no victim statement or testimony. (Ironically, the same night he shot dude, I shot up a party out of town to avoid getting jumped by like 30 blood nikkas in some hillbilly ass part of Va. If I wasn't there, I would've been with him and either stopped him or caught the case too.) I was 19, Seven was 26.

Before trial, the prosecutors offered him 7 years, trying to be funny bc of his nickname. He refused and took it to trial. What he didn't know was D.J. was cooperating with the D.A. and eventually testified against him. They gave him 6 years, and Seven got 25. I had my retaliation years later when I ran across him in prison. And oh, was it sweet. I'll save that for another thread. Statute of limitations & all that other shyt.

There's nothing more motivational and inspiring than doing time with your brothers on the inside, sharing a struggle, then coming home to reunite, build and execute on plans and moves you could've swore you were JUST telling nikkas about behind them penitentiary walls.

Salute & success to all my thorough brothers still trying to make the pieces of the future's big picture come together, from fragments of a broken past. And a special shout to all my nikkas still behind that wall, Coffeewood, Buckingham, Powhatan, Keen Mountain, Rikers, Clinton, Green, & everywhere in between. Hope they hold they head to the sky and keep striving.

My right hand, A-1 homie, my family, plug, my goon...the only nikka I can say rode for me like his life depended on it & I'm forever indebted in loyalty to, come home in 2029. I made sure his story, as well as mine, was told in my album & that the rat nikkas will be exposed to the world, as he wished. 25 years ain't life but it ain't a skid bid either. I promised my nikka (again, to myself,) that he'd come home a millionaire. Not only do I feel obligated to do that, but for my family to be set for life. Just for all the pain, embarrassment, stress, worry and money I've cost my family, from the day I first started getting in trouble. After I turned twelve and was stabbed by my father.

I'm really thinking about including a short book, a couple pages of fine print, with my physical album copies.

Follow me if you support your fellow Coli breh & want to witness what I'm about to make happen. I ain't just rapping to rap. I'm telling my story, entertaining the masses, and delivering authentic verses to deter the youth from the path I chose in life, prior to getting my mind right and using the God-given talent I let go to waste for years. That's the theme of the album. And if I win, we all win. Word to @Brooklynzson and what I'm about to do for this site. (Just stay tuned.)

nikkas in jail finding their Bestfriend and shyt

That's what happens when the best friends you grew up with, put work in with, struggled the same, had at family dinners, trust with your girl, and slept in the same room with end up getting on the stand naming names and pointing fingers.

The concept of friends, loyalty, trust...All that shyt becomes vague and you realize all you got is yourself regardless. Then you meet nikkas who been in similar situations, vibe off that, start planning and building.

you have a good storytelling style, good material, etc
but i don't think the coli is the right medium (too limiting)

everyone gets sucked up into outrage threads or dap bait
so it is hard for the story threads to get over

Can't wait to check out your music and the album. You look like you got plenty of potential. Just gotta tap into it in a positive way. Sometimes you need to focus on yourself, to get where you need to be. Stay out of trouble. The sky's the limit out there.
