Awkward interactions with coworkers outside of work

I take the metro to get to work, I usually listen to podcasts during the commute so this morning I see a coworker I'm cool with on the other side of the cart she didn't notice me so I continue to do me all of a sudden we both see each other I smile and say hi, out of nowhere this other coworker pops up on some thinking I'm saying hi to him gets up to talk to me I say hi but give him the the other coworker start laughing, of course I start laughing too the other coworker is butthurt long story short when I got to the office I ended up apologizing to him

my fukking god, if it ain't the truth... I just got back to work from my hollidays, where I had a great time, traveled alot, came back relaxed and shyt. now mind you I'm not the one to recount all the shyt I've done during my holidays, just some vague bits...the crowd I frequently eat at work starts telling me in great detail how all the bosses are shyt, how life is miserable, how work sucks (it doesn't)...and I'm sitting like , i need to find me some other optimistic colleagues to eat with, don't need this stress in my life right now
