Ayahuasca

I’ve been watching that KEntucky Ayahuasca show on Viceland and it’s renewed my interest in taking Ayahuasca to experience a new outlook on “reality.”

Has anybody in here tried it? I’m in Houston and I’m thinking I might go down to Mexico and try it there. Maybe

I’m experienced with hallucinogens, but I wouldn’t be taking ayahuasca to get high. I want to have a “spiritual” journey.

What are the pros & cons for those of you that have tried it?

Is it worthwhile?

That is a concern going into Mexico, but I’d take precautions. I’ve been robbed before, I know the correct way to act. Just give them your shyt and don’t fight it.

Apparently ayahuasca is mainly DMT, which you can get from cold pills. I might just extract it and do it at home. I think I may need a person to be “babysit” me in case I really go off the deep end. However, I think it would be more powerful to be alone. I dunno.

I am in recovery. That is definitely something I’ve been thinking about. I can’t risk my sobriety.

But, it’s supposedly more of a medicine than a drug. You don’t take it to get high.

But, you make a good point. Perhaps it’s too risky.

I've done DMT. Its 15 minutes and you probably wont blast off the first time. Ayahuasca is 12 hours and that 12 hours might feel like 12 years of dying if you aren't careful.


I wouldnt go to a foreign country taking it from some niccas you dont know unless you want to experience being robbed while having the most frightening psychedelic experience of your life or worse sexually assaulted which has happened.
