I do. How the fukk does acting in your own self interest not lead to any good in the long run? If you're selfless, people walk all over you. No one has your best interest at heart but yourself

It's good to have some self interests as we all have our goals, targets and things we would like to achieve.
But if everyone was completely selfish society would fall apart. Look at all the medical cures and technological advancements, imagine if everyone kept those things to themselves, peeps would be dying of easily curable illnesses all the time, technology like computers and smartphones wouldn't be easily available

Most of this is done for financial gain. You think Bill Gates would have bothered developing MS-DOS if he wasn't going to get paid?

Don't believe the BS guys like Zuckerberg tell you. Sure, there's some altruistic motivating factor in the development of technological advances, but if the opportunity for profit taking didn't exist, we'd be a lot closer to the Stone Age than we are now.
