Quick question. im confused.

They didnt ask for pay stubs. Do you not need proof of income to get a car? For real? :dahell:

So i basically got a recent car loan after 5yrs of not having one. I gave all documents, but they primarily just cared about where i live and a lease/mortgage paper. When i last applied for a loan half a decade ago, they asked for paystubs/employment refrences/etc. but this time they didnt at all. Is fraud not a thing anymore?:ohhh:

Got my car about a year ago and they didn’t ask for any of my paystubs either and I had them all ready for the bank.. I went back later on through all the paperwork just double checking making sure everything was straight and discovered my salesman fukked with the numbers about how much I really earn to get make sure he got me the best possible rate 😂😂😂.. I’m guessing even they know the banks don’t give a fukk as long as your credit is straight it seems they’ll give you the car

So do they only ask for income verification if your credit is not a certain score?
Possibly, or you are going to one of those instant auto places where they tell you the payment is $99 dollars a month, without warning you about the balloon payment at the end. Places like that, your credit rating is not important, just whether you can pay the monthly payment or not.
