They didnt ask for pay stubs. Do you not need proof of income to get a car? For real?





So i basically got a recent car loan after 5yrs of not having one. I gave all documents, but they primarily just cared about where i live and a lease/mortgage paper. When i last applied for a loan half a decade ago, they asked for paystubs/employment refrences/etc. but this time they didnt at all. Is fraud not a thing anymore?

When I got my car 5 months ago..they asked for my income but no paystubs

Got my car about a year ago and they didn’t ask for any of my paystubs either and I had them all ready for the bank.. I went back later on through all the paperwork just double checking making sure everything was straight and discovered my salesman fukked with the numbers about how much I really earn to get make sure he got me the best possible rate .. I’m guessing even they know the banks don’t give a fukk as long as your credit is straight it seems they’ll give you the car

Possibly, or you are going to one of those instant auto places where they tell you the payment is $99 dollars a month, without warning you about the balloon payment at the end. Places like that, your credit rating is not important, just whether you can pay the monthly payment or not.
