The Bulls don't need to trade Coby unless it's a no brainer and we completely fleece a team.
I'm content waiting for the buyout market and keeping Coby because he's an X factor off the bench that can break a game open. There are no names coming to me that are available that I'm aware of that I'd trade Coby for atm
Marko's in the G League? Wasn't he with the team on this NYC trip?

Was just looking at the team's salary cap to see how much money could be moved in a potential deal not including Vuc, DeRozan, Lavine, Lonzo and Caruso in a deal.

In order to get a player that elevates Chicago to being the favorites to come out the East, you would have to move at least 3 of those guys that make the most money.
Surveying guys around the league that might be moved, and just looking at the salaries out there... I'll just drop some names and you tell me if it's worth it to make a move.
Rumored to be on the block:
Siakam ($33M)
Tobias Harris ($35.9M)
Ben Simmons ($33M)
Could be traded but are stretches IMO:
Kristaps ($31M)
KAT ($31M)
Cheaper options to look into if available:
Harrison Barnes ($20M)
Jerami Grant ($20M)
Myles Turner ($18M)
Christian Wood ($13.6M)
This is all speculation of course, BUT something to consider about Coby and Pat is that we have them on rookie deals for the next 2 and 3 years respectively. Most of the guys on the list I just put together would only be under contract until the end of next year. The other guys who are locked up are making north of 30Ms
Considering that we have the veterans already in place and locked up (outside of Zach) on this team, if you make a move to bring in a guy who's going to make 20+ or even 30Ms a year, you lose some flexibility and talent. Ayo looks like a steal, so it does make moving Coby seems like something that could happen depending on what his value can get them back.
Do any of the guys listed added to this team make us a lock for a Finals run if acquired in yal opinion?

we also have a 6 mil trade exception from Theis I believe @GoldenGlove
I think we'll make a move but it will be a for a vet on the low. I cant imagine us making another 'splash' - if we're doing that its something that includes Pat & Coby and I just dont see AK wanting to move Pat just yet
