Tim is my goat producer but the frustrating thing about him is, he has so many fire beats that end up as wack songs...or perceived as wack songs anyway....usually its because he'll give a dope beat to a mediocre rapper but sometimes a dope rapper will take his shyt and not kill it like they're suppose to.

"AYO Technology" dropped before the Crystal Castles song. "AYO" dropped in 2007 and the Crystal Castles song was released in 2008.
A lot of the recordings from that first crystal castles album go back as far as 2005. Most of that project was compiled loosies. The song itself could have been recorded before AYo.
Either way, I thought their version was better than the Tim version (which would have been better had it been given to the right artist. 50 felt out of place)
