There needs to be a bigger transition to diversity in the writer's room in order to see less actors and actresses being casted for roles that perpetuate racialized tropes:

But the fact that you can't explain HOW bankers and financiers control who gets cast, or point to any proof that they are the ones forcing these typecast roles speaks to how full of shyt your claim is.

its the executive producer that gives directions about who to cast, they are the ones that hire the writers, directors and casting directors, why would i need to prove that? they may not make day to day decisions but they set the tone and direction

my point is that hiring more diverse writers isnt the real issue, since its the executives that are really controlling things, diversity initiatives or crusades, like the video posted, are simply crumbs thrown at black people by white liberals so that they can shut up

im sure someone can post it, but the video with whats his name going off on the black director about diversity shows what "diversity" means, it means a white liberal telling a black woman who to cast and hollywood white liberals making sure that its a white man in the lead of a movie like the martian while giving minor roles to minorities, the martian, which is a great movie, is a perfect example of hollywood white liberal diversity and why black people should not focus on diversity
