Azula Is Easily The Most Interesting character in Avatar

Watching this show over and over again, she is by far the most fascinating character. I know the main focus was always on Aang and Zuko, and somewhat Katara. But I really wished they would've delve deeper into her story, and why she is so damn evil.

They made little references to why she was so crazy, particularly in the last few shows, but they owed us more. And I hated how she got defeated so easily by Katara.

I tried watching Korra, but that shyt sucks, wish they would've picked off where the original ended, so we could see what happened to Azula, Ozai.

Korra does not suck. Why does shyt either have to great or horrible? Cut it out. It's not better than the original so far but it's still pretty good.

Azula is my 2nd favorite behind Zuko. I too wish they delved deeper into her story.

My favorite has to be Iroh. Though Azula is top 5 easily. Iroh's song always got me choked up.

I always found myself rooting for her. I too hate the way she went out. She doesn't seem like the type to have a nervous breakdown.

Iroh was my favorite then Azula. It would be have been nice if the show went into the both of them. Like how Iroh was all good from a fukked up family and like the OP said why Azula turned out to be megalomaniac.

Korra to me was just not interesting, not funny, and the characters didn't draw me in at all. I couldn't watch any episode the whole way through.

As for Azula, I wonder what happened to her, did Aang take away her fire bending. Cause she was just too powerful, other than Jeong Joeong, Ozai and Iroh, no one could battle her.

Korra is good especially when you judge it on its own merits but when you compare it to the original that's where you'll get people saying it sucks.

Korra as a character is great she'd fit in well in the original series and hold her own but the rest of the cast is mediocre. Toph's daughter is cool and Bolin is alright but the rest of the cast is boring as hell.

there's no real deep characters like Zuko on the show. in fact everyone including Korra is pretty shallow.
