B.G. Knocc Out: Eazy-E Was Never Broke Like in N.W.A. Biopic

B.G. Knocc Out spoke to VladTV about his thoughts on "Straight Outta Compton," and the discrepancies between the N.W.A. biopic versus what he saw during his time spent with Eazy-E.

The West Coast emcee debunked one scene from the movie where Eazy fell on hard times after N.W.A. disbanded, which B.G. Knocc Out said was a complete lie. He explained that Eazy had a stocked bank account and multiple nice houses, which is nothing like what was portrayed in the film.

During the conversation the "Real Compton City G's" rapper spoke about other problems he had with the film, including Dr. Dre portraying himself as a gangster. B.G. Knocc Out also didn't like how himself and other artists signed to Eazy-E's Ruthless Records were left out of the film, and he added that it seems like Dr. Dre was trying to wipe out that part of Eazy's legacy.

Only people this is news to are people who didn't know Eazy got paid off the Chronic...or that he got from BTNH. Dre a legend but he a bytch nikka for playin Eazy the way he did in that movie.

c/s all this. It wasn't a bad movie but it was hard to watch at certain parts. It's no way that Eazy lookin at billboards cryin n shyt when he had BTNH, Penthouse Player's Clique, B.G. Knocc Out & Dresta. I dunno how Eazy's peoples even allowed for him to be portrayed like that. I can understand not showing Real M'F G's since Eazy ultimately won that beef on wax but goddamn to just portray him like he a weak ass nikka and fast forwarding to the Aids is fukked up.

Yeah it didn't make sense to me in the movie how he became broke just like that. Honestly feels like it was easy for them to make Eazy the bad guy just cus he isn't around now.

I can understand cutting people and characters and even blending characters together for the sake of making a 2 hour film but as a biopic I don't get why they would just make things up. Why say Eazy was broke or close to it? He was making money off Dre, his albums and EPs were doing quadruple platinum type numbers, Bone, etc. in the years between NWA breaking up and Bone blowing up he was making money off The Chronic etc not to mention back catalog and all that, Efil4zaggin was #1 and multi play the money doesn't just STOP because Dre leaves. Making the suggestion that Jerry Heller was stealing money or at the very least hiding money from Eazy is all well and good but to make out like he was flat broke and selling weed and his house just to get by is stupid
