Ehh, it really isn't for the music, it's the nostalgia for a generation of women who grew up crushing on them and they are one of the few boy groups/acts where the members stayed in shape and attractive into adulthood.
edit: 2 (or 3?) of them being on LAHH and all the relationship/SM drama also helped to keep them viable.

You and the guy in the video are off. That Pandemonium album was 2003.
And Omarian as a soloist had hits on his own and kept the essence going all the way till 2014 with the song that made eating groceries a popular term.

I was listening to Pretty Ricky & it hit me how much better their discography is compared to B2K

They had a hot little run of singles off like 2 albums from around 2002-2003 then they fell off and Omarion had his little solo run.
I remember Pretty Ricky came along a few years later and I thought they were the great value version of B2K. I remember smashing the hell out of this broad in my brand new Honda with a dubbed version of that “Bluestars album” playing in the background this was around summer of 2005.

man...bluestars a surprised the hell outta me. i gave it a listen on some "might as well" shyt and that became an album of the summer for me. late night special was dope as well. i think the fact that they weren't attractive, missed the boy band wave, and relied so heavily on mid rappers kept people from really giving the music just due. had it been another singer with pleasure p or had dudes rapped better, their music would've been taken more seriously.
