I think today is the day that Lonnie Walker can be bought out and signed by an NBA team. Let's see what happens. If he goes somewhere else there's still O'shae and Peterson from Maine, or maybe someone else.

I want the Celtics to get another wing. I don't trust Hauser lol

I think with Torrey Craig in the fold they have the Hauser insurance. Lets not forget Hauser been on a tear as of late. I think his back issues are starting to be a thing of the past. The ASG break will help tremendously. He's shooting 30-57(53%) from 3 his last 11 games. He mostly plays on Tatum's/Pritchard lineups and with Tatum playmaking ability he will be getting alot of open shots. We're at the point of the season teams are going to double and try to take the ball out of JT's hands especially when JB is resting and the 2nd unit is in the game, We need the snipers ready.

Through the four games with the Cavs, I feel confident in saying that

- They have nobody that can stop Tatum/Brown
- We have nobody that can stop Mitchell
- We need Porzingis healthy to limit Mobley
- Garland’s gonna have a lot of rough nights against our backcourt
- They have the more reliable bench production

Full strength on both sides, Celtics in a tight 6 game series

I'm glad I missed the frustrations of watching last night. Was celebrating my niece's birthday and could only track them coughing up the lead via gamecast :sadcam:

The bench will be the wild card in the series IMO
When everyone healthy, I still think the Celtics bench can have the same production as the Cavs' bench
Pritchard, Hauser, Horford, Kornet, Craig, Queta is a more experienced lineup then what they got

Also, if the Celtics are just average from the 3 point line, it can be an easy series for them. Our 3's causes their bigs to be out of position, which makes the lane to the basket open as well

Wish we played Torrey Craig more to see how he matched up against the Cavs

They were cooking Hauser all night :francis:

Hunter better than anyone we got on our bench and Jerome can match Pritchard a lot of nights

Really depends on which versions of Horford & Hauser show up and my trust in either is at an all time low

Horford even though he's cooked (respectfully) I trust more because of the experience, and he has a possibly to have a "turn the clock back" games in the playoffs when it matters most

Hauser is the #1 worry I have. Dude should not be playing the minutes he plays whatsoever. It's sad that Torrey Craig is the perfect guy to play alongside Jayson and Jaylen. Switchable defender, and can knock down 3 pointers. My only hope is the reason why Joe Mazzulla is not playing him is that he is trying to bring him along slowly since he just got to the team, and will play him more towards the end of the season

6'7", 38% from 3
More Sam Hauser playing trash and falling off a cliff insurance :blessed:

Hauser getting shipped out this offseason. Don't see us paying $10 Million plus Tax and I believe Holiday getting shipped out too. Those two contracts will save the team about $260 million in tax penalties alone next season, then you add the 1st round salary slot for 2025 and they'll get under the 2nd apron. They'll take a lesser contract and attach Next years 1st rounder and some other picks and pay some taxes for Jrue replacement.

I don't think they paying the $282 Million in taxes. Makes no sense.

If I am Brad I'll try sending Holiday and a few picks to Chicago and see if they wanna trade Coby White($12 Million) or Josh Giddey ($8 Million), Giddey preferably because of his playmaking and rebounding ability, to shed major salary. They wont give me the all nba defense but the one we get will be solid replacement for Jrue, just let Derrick white run the point.

Derrick White
Jaylen Brown
Josh Giddey
Jayson Tatum
Kristaps Porzingis
is a solid starting 5

Pritchard
Horford(Vet Min)
Walsh
Queta
Baylor S.
3 Other Vet Minimun salaries
in Rotation

(2) 2 way players
Gotta get rid of Tillman as well.
