It'd have to be "The White Game" meaning Brown goes for 25-30 and White goes for 30 and they do it efficiently. Throw in a little more scoring from Jrue and Prichard.

But the rebounding/playmaking that is lost without Tatum is so much to overcome

Tatum had a Speed bridge technique surgery which supposedly has a faster recovery time, Same as Cam Akers who came back in 5 months and Aaron Rodgers who said he was ready after 4 months(Jets were already out of contention).

They gunning for him coming back at some point after the all star break. I’d like them to punt next season and call it a day.

Since Tatum is going through great lengths to get this unique type of achilles surgery, can he at least do surgery on this wrist?

It would suck if he spends months sidelined to get back on the floor and he's still holding his wrist 25 times a game

I don't wanna see him rush back under any circumstances. If he's ready to play by April let's say... then ok, maybe. Maybe he can come back if the Celts are in the 2nd round of the playoffs. But I don't know.

It’s crazy that all Joe had to do was tweak the Bigs rotation. Kornet gave us a big lift tonight. Crazy it took Joe 5 games to figure that out.


JB and D White stepped up and picked up the Tatum production. Jrue showed a pulse in the 2nd half. All the pressure in on NY to win game 6.

Like I said.... "The White Game" indeed. He was excellent. 34 points. JB was playing great as well, obviously. The Luke shyt came out of nowhere because I do feel like he was a liability in his limited minutes early in the series but anything is better than what KP is giving us.

Can we fukk around and steal one at MSG? Let's see

I remember years ago when Kemba had knee issues I came across videos about stem cell treatments in Colombia. A lot of pro wrestlers and mma fighters were getting it and they talk about it like it's a miracle procedure. Now a few football players are getting it too. I wonder if the Celtics medical staff knows about it and if they would recommend JT to get it to help with the recovery?

All I ask for Game 6 is that Porzingis doesn’t play and they continue to fight. Win or lose, you make them work for it.

Im Probably the biggest Mazzulla defender on this board and letting TWO 20 point leads and a 16 point lead in the 2nd half slip by is unacceptable. He hasn’t mixed in players that are capable of contributing(why is Scheierman, Queta & Torrey Craig on the roster? Thibs is putting Archiwa and Cam Payne in the game) and didn’t change strategies in games 1 & 2 when the Knicks were making a run. I know some of it has to do with Porzingis turning into Cody Zeller but Celtics should’ve gotten at least 2 of those games.

Now I been thinking and probably the only person who still thinks we have a slight chance. Porzingis needs to step up BIG and JB gotta go super crazy(I don’t think their health will allow it) D White and Pritchard need to play great as well. Let’s make it to game 6 and put the pressure on them.

This team still has a chance if they play team ball. Can't play Porzingis if he's still in the same condition.

Roster-wise, with Tatum, this team was head and shoulders better than everybody in the east. Without Tatum, we're now just like everyone. They can still win if they play good smart basketball - rebound, defend, and move the ball on offense.

I agree with the Mazulla commentary from the past few pages though. It's nuts Stevens gave someone with no HC experience this caliber roster. It's like back in 2023 when he mismanaged TOs and let other teams make runs.
