Backed out of a Masters program at the last minute(Cyber Security), did I do it right?

I applied to get my masters in Cyber Security but at the last minute decided to back out of the program and thought about pursuing an in MBA instead.

Reason # 1
The company I work has a huge internal training program on Cyber Security(with tons of labs) and nothing about the program would teach me half of the things I could learn on my own.

reason #2
Most companies out there don't ask for a masters. They ask do you have CISSP or CISM and bachelors etc. which I am going to study for the next three months.

I already have a Engineering bachelors.
