Loon had some talent.

Probably could've had a decent career if Diddy didn't try so hard to make him a "pretty boy pop/love song" type rapper.

I can't fault puff for that completely. If he wasn't with bad boy, who knows if Loon would have had the opportunity to release music on a major label. Puff did a great job making a lane for new artists. Almost everyone struggled after leaving the label. Can't remember any standout Loon verses or songs after Bad Boy, even though he had a buzz after hitting 40 cal with a shovel.

Don't get me wrong. Loon was pretty good at those RnB type songs.

But Puff tried to make him so 1-dimensional with it, when he really could've had a more interesting catalogue:

I’m pretty sure everyone struggled while on the label as well and that bad boy hasnt had any standout artists in decades but hey, what do I know.

Tried to find and link Up In A Maze to no success, but yeah, thats a standout from him.

Still want a thoroughly conducted documentary on this guy's life story. It's wild.
