That reminds me when I use to go over my homies house and listening to his mom and granny who are from Dominica talk. They spoke a different creole/patios, I was so confused, as Dominica is a English speaking country, couldn't understand anything.

Then I learnt that culturally Dominica has a lot more in common with the French speaking Islands then the English ones.
