I've always used razors but I've never had any issues. For whatever reason I can get away with shaving my face with razors too.. But I just shave my head while I'm in the shower

I have friends that use clippers though.. It looks fine

The Gillette 5 blade proglide...

I just use soap when I'm in the shower..

I used to use shaving cream and shave my head before taking a shower but a old head told me he just shaves his shyt in the shower.. Started saving money and not buying shaving cream ever since and I can't tell any difference..

For your first time I'd recommend using clippers to cut as low as possible and then using a razor afterwards though..

You'll also learn that you'll either want to shave everyday or every 3 days or so.. something about trying to shave that every other day stubble that hurts like a bytch lol

I've used liquid and bar soap..

But for your first time I'd recommend just doing it in the mirror..

I'm rough as hell with my head because I'm used to it lol

But my first time I was extra careful making sure I didn't miss anything
