Baltimore is actually a more dangerous city than Chicago.

The east coast has extremely old buildings compared to other parts of the country. That adds to the visual effect of the neighborhoods looking extra rundown.

Last time we were in Baltimore to visit family, many places looked like TWD. Baltimore has always been a somewhat dangerous city, but the out of control drug use we saw may have drastically magnified the danger.

I get some of my books from West Baltimore. It’s hood as fukk but it’s a beautiful place lowkey which makes the issues all the more sad.
