Ravens running back Terrance West should probably consider a different hotel the next time he goes to Miami.
According to a report by TMZ, West was robbed — twice — while staying at the Metropole South Beach in February.
West was reportedly minding his own business, talking to two women, but they went their separate ways without plans to meet up later. But the women asked the front desk for a key to his room, a request which was accepted, and the two allegedly stole two luxury watches.
When he returned to the room and realized he had been robbed, he called the front desk to get the police. He said an hour later, he answered a knock on his door expecting the cops, but was then robbed by a man who appeared to have a gun, losing $5,000 in cash and shoes and other items.
West is reportedly suing the hotel for more than $50,000.
There’s so much happening here that needs unraveling, beginning with why any hotel would pass out room keys to people not registered there.
