If Kobe takes less than 25 shots the Lakers can easily win.. This team isn't as bad offensively as a lot of people have been saying.. These are grown men and paid professionals. B. Scott just needs to lead and trust them a little...

the offense has never been the issue, its the fact that we have THE worst ranked defense in the league. doesn't matter if Kobe take 30 or 15 shots, if we cant stop anyone, we will lose.
The defense is the real issue on this team. They are the worst in the league. Hill, Sacre, and Boozer routinely get abused.

Defense is partially connected to effort...Effort is partially connected to shot attempts and offensive involvement.. Bigs run the floor, rebound better and are willing to protect the rim more if they know that they will get rewarded for their effort by getting to do the "fun" part (shooting)
Its all connected.. Byron Scott needs to do a better job of communicating and trusting EVERYONE on his roster..
If there is more balance on offense the team defensive performance will improve....Don't believe me just watch...
Nah it's not even that, this team straight up has defensive deficiencies. Yeah better offense leads to more effort on the defensive end but this team has a whole bunch of players that routinely get abused in one on one matchups.

This team will never be elite or even good defensively... They just don't have the length and athleticism..
But anyone that knows the game could watch how they have been giving up wide open layups in the paint in some of these early games and CLEARLY see its a case of not giving a fukk.. There is a difference between being slow or undersized and not caring..
