Bangladesh definitely had tags years before "A Milli" dropped. The songs he did on 8Ball & MJG's Livin Legends from 2004 had the female saying "Bangladesh" and if we're just going off commercially successful songs, Kelis's "Bossy" had the same tag as "A Milli".

I believe David Banner got that 1.

Mannie and Jazzy Pha got it from David

I think David Banner did it way back on their first album "Fire Water"

I know "Like a Pimp had it" and I know "Rubberband Man" had it.

The radio would take the tags off, I believe this was the first time the radio played songs with tags, Like a Pimp and Rubberband man

I am comfortable and I love you
Just Blaze talked about this on Kweli;s podcast recently. Apparently he conferred with a bunch of other big name producers on twitter re: who did the
"producer tag" thing first.

It was concluded Just was the first to have a tag that was actually a name and the first to use a "sound" tag was Tumblin Dice/Rashad Smith who used the sound of shaking dice, that was back in the late 90s.
