Banking while Black: Mt. Vernon mayor denied account access

Cliff notes. For 3 years the bank in charge of the city of Mt. Vernon's finances has denied the mayor from seeing the books. A bank employee yelled "he gotta a gun" and almost started a shoot out with the Mayor's detail. Also puzzling is that the Mayor hasn't said he plans to move the account to another bank.
