We got to this point by Obama ignoring the progressive grassroots that got him elected.

If he empowered that movement from the bully pulpit of the Oval Office, he would have governed more effectively in 2009 and 2010. The Dems also could have been more awake at the wheel and not be blindsided by GOP tactics. 2014 and 2016 could have been better election years.

We could have gotten public option at the very least...

I was just watching Bernie Sanders interviews and it hit me that he's basically the most powerful Democrat and he's not even a Democrat. Obeezy was highly successful considering the obstruction, and yet he's powerless. Approval rtg in the 50s amd yet they're just throwing him in the bushes. Its sad :damn:
