White people: copies a music genre invented by black people. black people abandon the genre to create new sounds and innovate other genres.

Rock music started dying during the Bush 43 era because they couldn't innovate.
Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park (RIP Chester Bennington) were all huge in their time, but they're stale AF in this era. It'd be like all hip-hop still sounding like GRODT-era 50 Cent.
The only 'rock' music that can hit these days usually has some hip-hop or EDM influences, like Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5 or Panic at the Disco.

True, but we did have a small rock revival this summer in Europe (greatly due to an Italian band, believe it or not):

This year they were #1 in Germany and like half of Europe...

So stupid. Setting aside that rock music was stolen from black people to begin with, The notion that rock was about white angst is bullshyt. Sure, there's been angsty white rock music, but there's been tons of sub-genres within rock, and ironically most of them are left-leaning and far from anything these guys would support or probably want to listen to.
