Cause barbers are trying to keep up with inflation prices.

I kind of don’t blame them, they are business people at the end of the day.

Everything is inflating but people’s wages :mjcry:

Nah, its beyond inflation. They got caught up in that Kevin Durant hype, and think that any random barber can charge $100 per head. I see these barbers bragging about how they copping new whips and stunting in new cribs since the last 8 months.

That was just over 20 years ago.

How does a basic haircut go 5 times the amount in just 2 decades?
Yup it was about a good 17 years ago, I remember it well because I’d go every Saturday morning like clockwork to get a fade and it was $10, and a $5 tip. Shortly after that I went bald and learned how to shape up my beard on my own. Haven’t been in a barbershop in over 20 years.

can’t believe it’s $60 now for a cut, that sounds like a ripoff, but I guess everything nowadays is more expensive than back in the day.

These barbers want to stunt and pop bottles

How you make over $4000 liquid cash in a busy week, and claim that you are broke? :gucci:

Theyre doing less appointments but better quality. Thats fair. Always cheap alternative if you want em :manny:

Commercial real estate has been fukked in the bay for about a decade. Example clubs that paid about 8-11k in rent in 2010-2013 are now up to 20-25k in rent since about 2016. Laws need to be implemented to prevent this. Landlords will look tenets who been there 20 years in the face and say pay it or close it
