Its a market correction that happened too fast as well.
What was 20 went to 40 then 60. Not including the tip.
Not saying it shouldnt necessarily be 60, if the quality of work and tools/products is quality.
But to increase it that much and start rambling off a bunch of bullshyt as the reason, when they using the same ol wahl t-liner from 2001, aint cuttin it. No pun.
Barbers should consider taking the nail/eyel lash tech route and do that shyt out they home or garage. Much less overhead.

When I first moved out here there was a guy charging like $120 for a cut…TF?!?
First thing I do anytime I go back to Nigeria is go to my main barber.
They have the VIP treatment which comes with a cut, beard trim and a foot pedicure (wash feet, clean, file and trim toenails). Nigeria is hot and men tend to wear more open toed shoes/sandals so not uncommon for men of means to get pedicures. No polish or buffing though

It was a wrap 10 years ago when nikkaz started the sponge messy fro. When I started growing out my hair my barber charged me $20 in like ‘14 when the last time it was $10 
He had the nerve to say “because I gotta fade it”
After that I just lined myself up. I got the hook up now tho. I’ve been loc’d for 12 years now and my girl who does my locs also is a barber so I get everything all in one.
But yeah barbers out of pocket now a days with the prices

Been cutting my hair since the early 2000s
Get you some Osters with a #1 and #2 blade and use beard clippers for edge up
Why do you use only a #1 and #2 blade?
I keep it simple with either a low or dark Caesar cut.
Use #1 for low, use #2 to keep it longer (usually in winter)
