sitting in Barnes and Nobles waiting for the book I THOUGHT I could just pick up and get a price match on in store.

Apparently they do not price match their online store. You HAVE to go online and select "Pick Up In Store" to get the online price. Which means waiting 15-30 minutes for the order to come through after you've purchased

If I go into Best Buy or Target or literally any other competent company with both online and brick and mortar locations they price match on the spot.

This company is ran by fukking morons.

Go in there and find a book you like so I sit down on one of the couches...see some brawny cac who is in the same book section for like 10mins keeping an eye on me... that muthafukka don't read you can tell...he was loss prevention.

Then I go over to the dining area...had a bag of pretzels I bought from another store that I took out my bag to get something from the bottom..some cac comes over and says I can't eat anything from outside the diner...I was like "i'm not eating" he was "just letting you know the rules"...

They did the same shyt to a homie who came in like 10minutes after me.

They probably do it so they can either retrieve the book from the distribution center or have the distribution center send the replacement after you pick yours up from the shelf. Online sites don't have to pay for rent, utilities and an entire store's staff. Go on Amazon if you don't like it.

I haven't bought a book in a store in years. I always check Amazon first. Usually it's cheaper and comes within two days with Prime.
