that barely even affects the rotation, hes just going to start a day after than he normally would

7 games should be the minimum suspension for a starting pitcher, so it at least causes the team to shuffle the rotation a bit..and actually damages the team.

these 5 game suspensions sound good on the surface, but in reality they dont mean shyt

For starting pitchers it should be their amount of starts...the average player plays every day, so that 5 game suspension is gonna be 5 games he dont play. Starting pitchers should get handed down a 5 start suspension if need be

didnt think about that, but maybe instead of a 5 start suspension,maybe 2 starts

this is why i suggest 7 games. seems arbitrary, but linking it directly to starts is a bit much for the petty stuff that still requires disciplinary action from the league office
