The latter half of the 90s, the Yankees won the chip' every season except for 97, where's in the 2000s, six different teams won the chip every single season until the Sox repeated.

Some players did have swag in the 2000s, Jason Giambi did for example, well when he was on the A's at least, dude signed with the Yankees and became in every way imaginable.
