2 pm the announcement comes down

I'm already pissed that Marvin Miller, and George Steinbrenner didnt make it, albeit that was a different election process.

I havent followed baseball since Pedro left Boston, but Maddux would've been the FIRST unanimous selection? :what:

How is that even possible? :mindblown:

Preposterous.
He should have his voting privileges revoked.
Period.
Not because he didn’t vote for any of them.
But because of the reason why he didn’t vote for any of them.
As stupid as you have to be to not think Maddux is a Hall of Famer, you have to be exponentially more stupid to just throw out an entire generation of players.
There are others who believe that since some goons didn't vote for Babe Ruth and thus didn't get 100% of the vote, then no one is worth 100% of the vote.
MLB Hall of Fame voting can be ridiculous.
And no, Biggio does not belong in the Hall of Fame just because he stuck around for 4 extra bad years to get 3,000 hits.
He'll still make it eventually, though.

For anyone curious, I am fairly sure the HOFer with the highest percentage of the vote is Tom Seaver, who got something like 97%.
