North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Batman v Superman debuted with a whopping $82M on Friday, but it could only muster $37M on Sunday. That's a drop of 55%, which is the worst Friday-to-Sunday drop in North American box office history for a superhero movie. The previous record was 48%, set last year by Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot.

:troll: That's one record I can admit is safe in DC's possession for years to come. You got Marvel there :shaq:

Sunday was Easter though.
Most ppl actually spend time with their families on that day.

Hard to say. I liked the movie. I had some issues with it, but overall I didn't think it was as bad as ppl are making it seem.

7.5/10 for me

About the bold. I think you're right about some people. However I think the those people (who are exaggerating how bad the movie is) feel that way because their expectations were so high. And I think they should have been; it's Batman vs. Superman! The two biggest heroes there are facing off! It's DC setting up the Justice League! It's DC's starting to answer to the Avengers! Why wouldn't they expect greatness? And after seeing it, how couldn't they be disappointed? The gap between expectation and delivery is pretty fukkin big to most people. DC really fukked up.

I get that, but as much as ppl were expecting another Dark Knight, they should have been equally expecting another MofS (which in itself was a good movie to me, but lots of ppl had issues with it).

I have to say though, the biggest problem with this movie is that there was to much unnecessary stuff in it for me. Not that it was lacking so much.

To much Lois Lane, to many dream sequences. To many flash backs. I thought the fights were great. I thought Doomsday was fine. Hell, I really didn't even have a problem with Eisenbergs performance. In fact JE did a pretty good job, my BIGGEST issue with him was not his acting, or his performance, it was just bad casting....not his fault.

I can totally understand ppl expecting greatness from this movie, but I feel ppl are going WAY overboard with the criticism. Critics giving it a 3/10 - 4/10? gtfoh

I wanted a great movie, Superman is my all time favorite. Batman is a close second. I wanted greatness. What we ended up getting was just a really good movie with a few flaws. But it setup something for the future.

I'm optimistic that it will just get better from here.

I'm a marvel Stan but superman and silver surfer are my favorite characters. So I'm gonna be more critical and sadly hey have both been disappointments.

MOS was meh at best. The biggest problem with the DC universe is everything is being rushed. The Dark Knight trilogy wasn't and the main reason was they didn't have any competition. But with the dominance of marvel the the success of the last two xmen movies maybe the felt the need to rush shyt.

I wish they would've done an origins to superman since his character has been totally changed. They didn't have to do one with batman but at least try to connect the dark night trilogy.

Does everyone remember the cartoon where batman and superman went against each other?.....a fukking cartoon with limited writers did a better job. Maybe my expectations were too high but I swear some of us could have probably written a better script.

I don't know if I liked the movie or not honestly.

I loved Batfleck more than I thought I would. If it wasn't for him... :usure: Yeah, the movie sucked ass :heh::snoop:

I gotta disagree here. We ended up with an average movie- maybe even slightly below average with significant flaws. It was painfully underwhelming, and it will hurt DC now and in the future. Which really sucks because fans benefit when both studios push each other.

yeah, maybe REALLY good was a little exagerration. But I though it was good still.

I still think they will keep pushing each other. I just don't like Zach Snyder as the man on these.
