Batman V Superman isn't even as "dark" or slow paced, mature, as some of the young adult movies like Maze Runner, Hunger Games, and Harry Potter. Are we seriously going to say those "dark" movies that include child murder aren't meant for a large audience?

Superman wont have a twitter, endorsements, a Instagram, etc so the only way people would know is face is through CNN and interviews.

There werent a lot of kids in the threaters to see BvS compared to CA3 and the rest of the Marvel trash. The execs at Disney PURPOSELY marketed the Marvel films for the family. DC, not so much.

I think it's closer than people admit but GotG is a lil riskier even though it's an for- all- ages flick. Neither project I would call risky.

I just dont get why people think DC is supposed to be doing these huge numbers. DC will never sniff Avengers money.

The first MCU flick with none of the Avengers, set in space, with basically unknown characters, with the lead being the dude from Parks & Rec, a fukking wrestler being part of the main cast, and the 2 most bankable stars just doing voices, written & directed by the dude who did Slither

A movie that comic heads have been waiting their entire lives to see, starring 2 of the 3 biggest superheroes in the world

It's darker than Batman V Superman. So are the Hunger Game and Maze Runner movies.

The point is they are all pg-13 movies that can appeal to kids, teens, and adults, and are nowhere close to being "adult movies."
