Since Noel went down with the ACL, imo these might be the 2 best prospects right now. I actually like Smart as the number 1 pick at this point. The guy does it all on the court. His jumpshot is inconsistent at this point but he has a nice form. Also makes some bad decisions with the ball sometimes but once again that's something that he can certainly improve with age. The kid is only 18 after all.

Meanwhile tonight, they are both playing very poorly so far on offense but we'll see if that changes as the night continues. I expect at least one of these guys to have a nice 2nd half. I'm going to say Marcus Smart goes off and helps "upset" the Jayhawks but we shall see.

I don't know about amazing but he is a bit reminiscent of a college era DWade.
I'm going to continue to say Trey Burke is a very good prospect in this year's draft as well. If Smart is DWade, Burke is comparable to Chris Paul in this draft. I dont expect either one to be as good as those comparisons but the games are similar and as weak as this draft is you gotta be looking at both these guys as top 5 picks right now. Also don't forget the new Larry Johnson aka Anthony Bennett.

Smart with a huge shot. The guy still needs a lot of work puttin that athletic ability to good use and actually finishing around the rim. Russy Westbrook had the same issue in college though and look how he turned out, so I'm not too worried about it tho
